Kevin
W . Dougherty
Kevin is
a life long resident of our area. He grew up in Avon,
NY, one of eleven children. Kevin attended school
at St. Agnes in Avon, McQuaid Jesuit High School in
Rochester, Alfred State College and Simmons School
of Embalming and Mortuary Science in Syracuse, NY.

Upon becoming
a licensed Funeral Director, he has been serving families
in Livingston, Ontario and surrounding counties for
many years. His memberships include many professional
organizations along with very much community involvement.
A long time Livonia Rotary member, Kevin has served
as President and was awarded the prestigious Paul Harris
Award by his peers. He has served on the Board of Directors
at Noyes Hospital in Dansville and Livingston Health
Services in Geneseo, for the past eleven years. He has
served as Chairman of the Board and currently is on
the executive committee for both health care facilities.
As a member of the Livngston County Coalition of Churches,
he was a Charter member of Teresa House, a hospice home
located in Geneseo. He also is very involved with St.
Matthews Church where has served on many committees,
including a major capital campaign, to fund the building
of a new Church erected in 2004. He also been very involved
as a Charter Ambulance Commissioner in the newly formed
Livonia Ambulance District.
Kevin was
married to the former Susan D'Angelo, until her untimely
and tragic death in 1997. He is the proud father of
three children, Ryan, Deanna and Shannon, all
of whom are attending school.
Kevin has
devoted his professional career to personalized, meaningful
funerals with attention to detail, regardless of financial
circumstances.

Michael
P. Dougherty
Michael
and his wife, Stacey, and their 2 daughters; Kelsey and Kadee, live in
the Village of Livonia. Michael was born and raised in Avon, NY
and graduated from Avon Central School in 1996. His parents are
Peter and Barbara Dougherty who live in Lakeville. He also has a
brother,
Tommy Dougherty, who lives in Geneseo, and a sister Katie
Dougherty-Engert who lives in Tierra Verde, FL.

After high school Michael continued his professional
education at Simmons Institute in Syracuse, NY, receiving
his degree in Mortuary Science.
Michael has been a Licensed New York State
Funeral Director since 2000.
Michael
has enjoyed living in Livonia for many years and is
an active member of the community.
He is a member of the Livonia Rotary Club and
participates in many community events.
He's a member of the Genesee Valley Funeral
Directors Association, where many continuing education
requirements are received. He
is a member of St. Matthew’s Church in Livonia and also serves on
the Board of Directors for Livingston County Catholic Charities.
He
has attended numerous seminars with professional staff
on how to personalize funeral services.
He has significant knowledge on funeral merchandise,
caskets, urns, burial vaults and monuments.
